this upshot is easily one of my favorites. the red rock plays well off of the dark blue sky and the smoking hottie in the foreground always makes me smile.
my neighbor, and friend, jim's bike. he's since painted this bike turquoise but this red with flat black bumper combination sure caught my eye. this is easily one of my favorite photos.
on a recent visit to a long abandoned shoe store, i came across this gem. if john travolta or the beegees don't spring to your mind then you are too young and, sadly, you missed an awesome time.
i sat alone, a gentle breeze brushing my face, mesmerized by the detail in the stone robes.
while trying to catch a picture of a few clouds, i was photo bombed by this little deuce chucker.
remember, children must always wear a safety belt... unless you have more than 50 of them in one vehicle then... nah, don't worry about it.
i'm always surprised when i see graffiti on train cars. when are they getting tagged? who tagged them? why have i never seen someone spray painting the side of a train? my favorite mental picture is a young man jogging alongside a slow moving train, fighting to keep his saggy pants from falling down in a mist of spray paint in an effort to show the world he was here.
oftentimes, i say to my wife, "i've got to stop and take this picture, i may never get to see this again". that was the case with this one. when will i ever get the chance to see an old discarded hospital mask lying in dirt next to a slow pedestrian sign? the awesome thing is that behind me stood a hospital but up this small grassy hill was a graveyard.
when your spirit is low, when the day appears dark, when the world is stacked against you, when hope hardly seems worth having, hop on your bike and go. all worries and cares fall from you as you pedal off down the road.
This is sky.
my wife, Kendra always refers to this one as: "this here is rubber duck, and i'm about to put the hammer down".
this is lucy. she's kind of mean. this is the nicest i've ever seen her.
fourche loupe translates to fork magnet. it's an odd combination but even more peculiar, this sign hangs at the entrance of a graveyard.
this has always been one of my favorite photos.
cadillac ranch in amarillo, tx at sun up on a cold november morning.
the tree in the foreground has always looked like a giant banzai tree to me. this afternoon, when i decided to stop, i got the added bonus of a flock of geese.
